I'm going to go ahead and dropdown and select the LinkedIn xDesign and hit OK. We have these collaborative spaces that we just talked about in a previous video. Initially what you have to do is also select where you want to create this component. I'm going to go ahead and click on Start New Component. When you initially start the SOLIDWORKS xDesign app, it gives you the ability to import a file or start a new component. I'm going to close this out and now I'm actually going to click on maximize to maximize this in our screen and give us a little bit better interface to work in. If youre unfamiliar, virtual components are saved internally to the assembly file instead of in separate part or subassembly files. If we have a blank dashboard like I've got here, again we're going to go up to the 3D modeling app's button, click on that, scroll down to SOLIDWORKS xDesign, click on that hold, drag it over and fill it into our space.
